OUR HISTORY

Larkmoor Elementary was completed in April 2005, replacing the previous building, which opened in 1953 and was named for nearby Larkmoor Street. It was one of 10 new schools built between 1952 and 1959 to meet the needs of the post-WWII “Baby Boom.” Larkmoor Elementary is designed to accommodate 450 students for an investment of $7.8 million, of which nearly 80% came from the state of Ohio.
